Experts say that the growing number of cyber attacks in Brazil is due to the lack of investment in information security. Furthermore, companies still maintain a detection rather than prevention mentality when it comes to cybersecurity; that is, they do not invest in Vulnerability Management.
In fact, data leaks in Brazil and hacker attacks on companies and public bodies have increased the demand for cyber risk insurance, according to a survey by the National Federation of General Insurance (FenSeg). Between January and September last year, the modality raised R$123 million and grew 75% compared to the first nine months of 2021.
